Everything is green and lush, making this a lovely time to visit. Taking long tranquil walks in the warmth and sunshine, sit and rest at the many seats to enjoy the breathtaking views.
Thursday Evenings 4th May – 28th September
From the first Thursday in May until the last Thursday in September Bodenham Arboretum is open until late evenings for meals. Begin your evening meal with one of our starters; chose from Luxury Salad Bar, Traditional Prawn Cocktail, Pâté of the Evening or the Surprise Starter. Follow your first course with a delicious homemade meal choosing from a range of dishes including an International Dish, a Fish Dish, a Pie Dish or the Bodenham Carvery. Finish of with a scrumptious homemade dessert and a Tea or Coffee.
8th April – 23rd April Easter Trail
Fun for ALL the family, come down to Bodenham Arboretum this Easter and hunt out the Easter Bunnies and Easter Eggs around the Big Pool. Look out for the ones with the letters so you can unscramble them to make the key word to claim your prize back at the Visitor Centre.
The Easter Trail is included in normal admission into the Grounds.
3rd April and 10th April Pencil and Watercolour Workshop
Come down to Bodenham Arboretum and unleash your inner artist with the help of local artist Daphne Millington. Learn new skills using pencils and watercolours to create your very own masterpiece. The day also includes morning tea or coffee with cake, homemade meat plaits with a selection of delicious salads and a scrumptious homemade dessert and finish the day off with the Bodenham afternoon cream tea.
10am – 4pm
£29.50 per person with a non refundable £5 deposit to be paid per person to secure your place. Please note spaces are limited.
15th April Plant Hunters’ Fairs
FREE admission into the Plant Fair. Top specialist nurseries with thousands of plants to choose from. Each stall has it’s own unique range of plants including rare, unusual, heritage and brand new varieties. There is something for every garden.
Normal admission applies into the grounds.
15th May and 26th June Djembe Drums Workshop
Experience the energy of the traditional West African drumming and the joy of community music making. The day is pitched for beginners and improvers to learn how to play Djembe and Bass Drums. Drums will be Provided.
10am – 4pm
£30.00 per person including morning tea or coffee, a Ploughman’s Lunch and an afternoon cream tea.
11th June Droitwich Model Boat Club
Enjoy watching hand crafted model boats sail on the Big Pool. Here from 11am until 5pm you can ask the sailors questions and have a good look at some of their boats. The club regularly sails at Worcester County Hall and Top Barn Farm but they always come down to Bodenham twice a year for you to share the experience.
17th – 18th June Fathers Day Pie Weekend
Treat dad this Fathers Day to a pie and a pint. Choose from a selection of different, delicious homemade pies and a FREE pint of their choice from either Bewdley or Enville Brewery.
