Our Trees & Pools

Bodenham is situated in a protected valley, away from traffic noise and visual intrusions. Its 170 acres contain mature woodland, specimen trees and shrubs – over 3000 species in total which include important collections such as Acers, North American Oaks and Alders, and two chains of pools and lakes, integrated within a working farm.

Arboretum Trees

There are over 5 miles of pathways to explore – comprising 15 pools, plantations, dells, glades and mature woodland with over 3000 trees and shrubs, 300+ species of wild flowers, plants and grasses, providing habitats for flora and fauna, including 14 species of dragonfly and over 100 species of resident and migrating birds. Specimen trees and shrubs – over 3000 species in total which include important collections such as Acers, North American Oaks and Alders.

Pools and Water

Bodenham has 15 pools of varying size in total, each exhibiting interesting features and with their own constant supply of water and providing the perfect habitat for wildlife.
