SAT 24TH OCT – SUN 1ST NOV (inclusive)

…we have taken the decision to restrict admission to our grounds during Half Term.
Admission will be refused to anyone not falling in the above 3 categories.
Purchase of Annual Passes for the next 10 days is also restricted.
We apologise for any disappointment caused. Normal service will resume Monday 2nd November.
Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.

This is a change to our normal Opening Hours which are 7 days a week, 10AM – 5PM

(except Christmas Day and Boxing Day).

Safety Measures & Covid-19

To ensure the safety and enjoyment for everyone, we have a number of strict measures in place in-line with the new Government guidelines around social distancing and group sizes. If you are visiting with friends and family who do not live with you, you must not meet in groups of more than six people (exceptions may apply). Please ensure you follow and understand the Government Guidelines.  It is everyone’s individual responsibility to, wherever possible, apply the principles for keeping yourself and others safe.

Please note visitors must wear face coverings inside the Visitor Centre, unless you are dining – these can be removed once you are seated.

NHS Test and Trace Compliance

Please note that with effect from Thurs 24 Sept, as requested by Government, we have to ask ALL visitors (whether you are using the Restaurant or visiting the Arboretum) to provide contact details – at least one member of every party of customers or visitors (up to 6 people).
You can do this in one of two ways:
1. We will be displaying an official NHS QR code poster so that customers and visitors can ‘check in’ using this option as an alternative to providing their contact details by means of a written form. You will need to download the NHS COVID-19 App to your phone beforehand.
2. Fill in a paper form at your table and post it in the official post box in the Visitor Centre.
We would like to reassure everyone that we are following Govt guidelines closely and adhering to General Data Protection Regulations.
Hospitality venues such as Bodenham have been given the right to refuse entry to those who refuse to participate. Thank you for your cooperation.

Booking is not required – simply pay upon arrival.

You do not have to pay Admission fees if you are just dining or visiting the shop – fees only apply if you wish to tour the Arboretum.

Entrance into the Arboretum requires a ticket to be purchased. All family trails (eg. Easter Trail, the Vikings and Christmas Nativity Trail) are included in the Arboretum entrance price.

Day tickets purchased at any time of year include a free return ticket for use during the low season (January – February).

Weather Conditions

As adverse weather conditions can affect accessibility here at Bodenham we advise that if you have a booking on a day where we experience inclement weather please check here for updates.

Accessibility – Wheelchair Users and People with Limited Mobility

Please note that Bodenham Arboretum is a ‘natural visitor attraction’ and the terrain / pathways may prove challenging at certain points, especially for small wheeled wheelchairs.

Our Annual Pass – Great Value!

Our Annual Pass is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. It covers normal entrance fees for the Arboretum, Trails and events within the Arboretum grounds where it states ‘standard/normal Arboretum Admission fees apply.’ Where events are ticketed / booking is required you will have to have to pay the stated fees.

Purchase of an Annual Pass also includes entrance to these other visitor attractions:

The Living Rain Forest in Berkshire
Batsford Arboretum in Gloucestershire

You can visit them as many times as you wish within the year.

Birmingham Botanical Gardens – with effect from 1st October 2020 Birmingham Botanical Gardens will no longer feature as an attraction where Bodenham Arboretum Annual Pass Holders are able to gain free admission. We appreciate that this will disappoint many of our Annual Pass Holders, however the complexity of Birmingham Botanical Gardens’ levels of membership now means that a ‘like for like’ reciprocal arrangement for free admission is no longer tenable. Similarly, members of Birmingham Botanical Gardens will have to pay full admission fees when visiting Bodenham Arboretum with effect from 1st October.

If you have a Bodenham Arboretum Family ticket, children will still have to pay entrance to the above Gardens.

If you have Membership of any of the above Gardens concessions which may be granted by those Gardens are not applicable for Admission to Bodenham Arboretum.
