With effect from 5th January 2021…

Bodenham can remain open for Annual Pass Holders and those that live locally.

We are reducing our opening hours from 11am – 4pm. Booking is not required. Basic food / drinks will be available to take-away. The toilets will also remain open.

Non-wearing of face masks will not be tolerated under any circumstances when liaising with our staff.

Anyone with a ‘Low Season Free Return’ – please retain your ticket as we will carry it forward to 2022 if you are unable to attend before low season ends (Fri 12th Feb).

We will do our best to keep our grounds open but we reserve the right to close should we feel that this option no longer remains viable.

Whilst a Government lockdown has been announced with effect from 5th January, outdoor grounds of botanical gardens and heritage sites are permitted to stay open for outdoor exercise.

Please adhere to Government guidelines: you can only exercise with your household (or support bubble) or one other person, and you should not travel outside your local area.

Dogs welcome – but please keep on lead.

Safety Measures & Covid-19

To ensure the safety and enjoyment for everyone, we have a number of strict measures in place in-line with the new Government guidelines around social distancing and group sizes. Please ensure you follow and understand the Government Guidelines.  It is everyone’s individual responsibility to, wherever possible, apply the principles for keeping yourself and others safe.

Admission Fees

Please note that Seasonal Dates are subject to change depending upon Government advice in the New Year.

Dining at Bodenham

Our Restaurant is currently closed and will remain so pending Government advice. We are however offering a take-away service from the terrace.

Weather Conditions

As adverse weather conditions can affect accessibility here at Bodenham we advise that if you have a booking on a day where we experience inclement weather please check here for updates.

Accessibility – Wheelchair Users and People with Limited Mobility

Please note that Bodenham Arboretum is a ‘natural visitor attraction’ and the terrain / pathways may prove challenging at certain points, especially for small wheeled wheelchairs.

Our Annual Pass – Great Value!

Our Annual Pass is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. It covers normal entrance fees for the Arboretum, Trails and events within the Arboretum grounds where it states ‘standard/normal Arboretum Admission fees apply.’ Where events are ticketed / booking is required you will have to have to pay the stated fees.

Purchase of an Annual Pass also includes entrance to these other visitor attractions:

The Living Rain Forest in Berkshire
Batsford Arboretum in Gloucestershire

You can visit them as many times as you wish within the year.

Birmingham Botanical Gardens – with effect from 1st October 2020 Birmingham Botanical Gardens will no longer feature as an attraction where Bodenham Arboretum Annual Pass Holders are able to gain free admission. We appreciate that this will disappoint many of our Annual Pass Holders, however the complexity of Birmingham Botanical Gardens’ levels of membership now means that a ‘like for like’ reciprocal arrangement for free admission is no longer tenable. Similarly, members of Birmingham Botanical Gardens will have to pay full admission fees when visiting Bodenham Arboretum with effect from 1st October.

If you have a Bodenham Arboretum Family ticket, children will still have to pay entrance to the above Gardens.

If you have Membership of any of the above Gardens concessions which may be granted by those Gardens are not applicable for Admission to Bodenham Arboretum.
